HARRY STARK, Ph.D.
Clinical Psychologist
About Dr. Stark
After graduating in 2000 with a Ph.D. from California School of Professional Psychology – Los Angeles (APA approved), my clinical training included rotations through inpatient psychiatric facilities, outpatient geriatric care, and day treatment for Developmentally Disabled/psychotic disordered adults.
In addition, I’ve served as adjunct faculty, teaching graduate and undergraduate level students at local universities since 2001. A passion of mine is presenting at continuing education seminars on the integration of psychological theory in treatment, use of various conceptual approaches in inpatient/ outpatient treatment environments, and issues related to geriatric populations, as well as self-harming populations.
My current research involves development of self-harming assessment tools.
I can help you in your quest to find satisfaction and meaning in life. Whether you are dealing with situational or life-long challenges like anxiety, depression, trauma, or unwanted thoughts, I can help.

What is Psychotherapy?
Psychotherapy is the use of the therapeutic relationship and cognitive (what and how you think) and behavioral (how and what you do) techniques to identify and alter attitudes and behaviors that do not work in a person’s life. We’ll work together to develop new attitudes and behaviors that will help you grow in a healthy way so you can feel belonging, creative productivity, and respect.
